Would you buy a rental ?

RE: Would you buy a rental ?
I bought my SG from the dealers rental fleet with just over 12k on her and now it has over 20k and I have not had a problem. If the price is right, why not?

RE: Would you buy a rental ?
But I think there is a difference in the type of person (not always) and the type of driving one does when one rents an economy car for their buisness trip and a motorcycle or sportscar for a vaction. I don't beatup or push the Ford POS I get when I rent on a buisness trip, but if for some reason I ended up aith a sportscar I'd probably drive it a little harder. By the same tolken, if I'm renting a bike, and even more so if it's a model I've never ridden, I'm probably gonna want to see what it can do...

In 05 I bought a demo (05)w/ 290 miles on it for a great price. A month later I had a big bore kit installed, as far as I'm concerned it took care of any beating it took. Two years and no problems.

Well thanks again folks- I went for it-$13,800 O-T-D with a 2 year ext. warnt. ,back rest , low windshield and a $100 gift card . I think I did ok ! If it breaks in the next 3 years I'm covered . Don't matter anyway, I'm sure I will do motor mods.

I have a line on a 2007 road glide rental from my dealer. 7200 miles for $14,700. Price is right and the miles don't bother me . what I feel bad about is 45-50 diffrent riders put those miles there. that is a lot of trips to red line and bounces off the rev limiter. My question to the members is would youbuy it ? Would you sleep good thinking about after you bought it ? The price is too good to just say no ,and they gave me a good offer on my trade. Thanks
