How Many Prefer Solo ?

RE: How Many Prefer Solo ?
I prefer to ride alone. I had a couple of short hops with friends, didn't like how agressively they drove. Itake my time and get there when I do I donot enjoytrying to keep up with others or **** off cagers. I like to see large groups of HD riders go by, but it's not my cup of tea.

Solo 99% of the time.I prefer the solitude of riding all by myself.I have one friend that I ride with a couple times a month. He rides like a bat outta hell most of the time.I hate trying to play catch-up with him.If he didn't ride like such an azz,I'd ride with him more often.Too bad all of our other friends are too broke to buy bikes.

I used to have a riding buddy. Rode together allot, or alone. Then one night went riding with another friend of his, which made for one too many... He was screwing around on his new V-Rod (bought that night) and clipped me, the f***er, I went down and broke my collar bone. Was out for a while, and the friend sort of moved on (there is more to that, but is not motorcycle related)... We still ride every once in a while... but 99% of the time it's alone. At least 500 miles a week

RE: How Many Prefer Solo ?
I did a 1700 mile trip by myself. Just got back from a 2500 mile trip with a friend. We got along great, riding styles were identical. But I did find myself at times thinking I wish I would have made the same trip alone, I don't know why. We even talked to each other over radios constantly. Like 'em or not it's nice to be able to comment on scenery, traffic, or whatever with your riding partner. Unless on a trip though I solo. I use my bike as my main transportation.

My current bike has 11,000mi on it since August of 2006 other than 2 poker runs at 100 mi each and the Fallen Firefighters Red Helmet ride last year they have been ALL solo...............And I really do not mind a bit.
