There are too many low mileage bikes available to buy one with that many miles on it,in my opinion.

 

Its true that there are a lot of low mileage bikes out their but 40,000 mile is nothing. I know of a number of older EVO's out there that have had cam's pistons and head work done to them that have over 70,000 miles on them and they run like a top and these bikes are run hard, but they are taken care of.
