What happened to 'You meet the nicest people on a Honda' ??

 

I know this post was started in good fun...but just goes to show how people treat people differantly.
I could have been 'that guy' on a Honda that didn't wave. After awhile of not getting 'waves' returned, you tend to not pay attention to others that initiate a 'wave'.
I have on occasion been passed by people on Harleys during charity rides, for no other reason than they didn't want to follow behind a 'rice burner'. I have had bags of rice thrown at me.....
and the usual "WTF!!!!" by me is followed by "JAP!!!!" or some such ****.
So if someone does not 'wave' at you and it makes you feel bad......well, it may be Kharma (what goes around, comes around).
And as far as meeting nice people on Honda......I may be the guy that stops along side you on the road, lets you use my tire plug kit and airs up your tire using my Honda air compressor.
So if I don't wave......get over it. I may get'cha on the rebound.

Leave the Honda guys alone boys - they've already got it hard enought. Did you know that what we call a rally, the Honda guys call a Honda Hoot?

What I really want to know is who are the hot women in docharley and rdm's avatars?

I am just assuming now...but I bet they do too.

And as far as "Honda Hoot" is concerned in a post I read...(some people have heard
the word HOOT used as in...."Went to a party and BOY! What a HOOT it was!"
Last I heard is Harley has a "Homecoming". Those of us that were raised Baptist
know what a "Homecoming" is. Usually includes allot of food......crying Aunts
and a Preacher that didn't know you saying how good a person you were!
Anyhow, back to waving.
Out on my Fatboy today.....waved at three Ultra glides.......two Goldwings and
a few bikes I could not identify. One Harley waved back. Two of the goldwings
and one of the undetermined bikes. So 4 out of about 9 bike riders waved back.
I think I might get over it. I WILL RIDE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! (wave? maybe)

I get more waves when I ride the Harley.

Didn't get many on the Valkyrie and now the ST1300.

I'm gonna put a bumper sticker on the Honda that says "my other bike is a Harley".

OK, after readin' alla this, I have decided to never wave in any way again.
Instead, I'm just gonna flip off EVERYONE! Alla the bikes, cagers, rigs, buses, and ESPECIALLY those garbage trucks!!!

If y'all never hear from me again, you can safely assume that this was not one of my best ideas...
