I've always wondered how much a dealer would deal in the cold, snowy miserable winter months. I can't believe they do any business in Dec, Jan and Feb in cold climate states. I'm tempted to see if they'd do something like an '07 deal on an '08 during this time.

 

The best time to buy would be last week. No matter what you do, you will always
find a better deal after you buy your bike.
You pull up on your nice new bike....and sure as ****, someone will tell you about the 'buy-one-get-one-free' saleat "name your own price harley shop" in the next town over. At least it never fails for me.

The best time to buy was two years age .....you'd have that many more memories of your rides! I agree with the mainstream here, best time to buy is now,. Make your best deal and start riding.
.....and, NightBob, with the announcement of the pending HD plant closings, the best time to buy did shift slightly ....it's now 3:45 to 4:15!!!

 

Find the right bike. Most people here would agree that finding the right bike is more important than waiting for the best deal.
