Do you feel safer on the road at night..... I feel better riding at night because it is a little hard not to see the headlight and spots when running down the road, where as during the day the lights dont get someones attention.

 

An old biker told me one time to ride in the country in the day and the city at night, and I have noticed the amount of traffic is less which translates to less 2 to 4 ton missles trying to shoot you down.

 

Depends where.. Up here where I'm at it's much safer to ride during the day.. No traffic to speak ofbut LOTS of deer at night..

 

I always rideday ornight with High beams on, but at night the thought of critters running out in front is there and less visible. I wear yellow Len's fit overs, because of the prescription lenses but there is a glare. I just ordered the clear lens's will see.

I'm pretty sure that stats would indicate the opposite. But then, you get more drunks at night and don't forget as we get older, night vision decreases....

 

Daytime for me... nite time equals drunks, critters, road hazards, etc... PARTY AT NIGHT, RIDE DURING THE DAY....

 

will ride in town at night, not often but sometimes. ride most of the time during the day, poor night vision already (42).

 

I feel safer in the day, but I love to ride in town at night!

 

i like day better...i have seen too many exploded truck tires laying in the road.....you will not see them at night till you are on them....plus many other objects
