I lived in rocky point and miller place for years. Eastern harley in Riverehead I am not a very big fan of. I have been there a bunch of times and they never stock what i want and they arent very friendly I had originally wanted to buy a bike from them but it was like pulling teeth so I usually deal with Oakdale or Lighthouse.

Yea, I at first thought Eastern was OK, but the more I have been dealing with them, the less I am impressed.

One of our chapters is having there first annual bike blessing on april 30th out east. I'm sure some of you have participated in the one at bald hill witcjh just gets too packed now and usually doesnt include much riding. Unfortunately its the same day heres a link and hope some can help support our cause.

Hi from Albertson Long island. I am relatively new to the forum, back riding after 15+ years.

What about a trip to the OBI parking field near Robert Moses ? I went several times on Sunday mornings in august & september, lots of bikes and muscle cars from the 60's. its quite a show every sunday (spring & fall).

Don't wanna hijack this thread, but we had our first HDF LI members meet and greet a couple of weekends ago. Will try and have another this weekend, weather is supposed to be iffy on Saturday but Sunday looks good. We met at the OBI parking lot. We could do the same and go from there unless someone else has another idea. Some of our members are unavailable for weekends due to jobs, we also do the tuesday night Ear Inn in NYC for those who can't make weekends. Hope to see everyone soon.

I have added just about everyone from the forum who is from long Island to my PM list and will send a PM once we have determined the next ride. I will also post to this thread.

Albertson is in Nassau County between Williston Park & North Hills. I have lived in many places on Long Island as well:
Garden City, Freeport, Baldwin, Valley Stream.

I take my bike for service to Rolling Thunder in Hempstead.
