Not every law or suggested law is good. You seem to forget there are other laws to protect the right to own property and discrimination is illegal. you commented on the wrong point. The pointis not speeding, it is the law not being applied fairly. Everyone has the obligation in America to stop discrimination against any group. I would think MORALLY a LEO has this obligation ten fold.
You can't say lets arrest anyone on Saturday between noon and 3:00PM wearing white after labor day if they cross the street from north to south and live on the north-side of town. People only visiting the north-side of town are exempt.
They cant say its ok to drive a car but not a motorcycle. moving violations have to be fair and applied to everyone evenly.
I watched a show where the city of LA, CAwere crushing vehicles of all types. Every car had been forfeited because of street racing. The owners had to watch their car be crushed. they crushed all types of cars, pickup, and motorcycles.
If I offended you, you should ask why.

 

Some people will never understand that operating a vehicle above the posted limit is not by itself inherently dangerous or reckless. They may throw out names such as "moron" and "idiot" when all you are doing going faster than they are allowed.

If the citizens of Florida do not rise up against this it will be up to someone to become a test case in court.

 

I agree - but states with Absolute Speed limits (like Florida) will not give merit to your argument. In other states, where the speed limit is considered Prima Facie - they will hear your argument.

 

This was my point earlier, people get caught up in the "speed" factor. The problems I see every day on the road aren'tfrom speeders. It's from the a-holes that areweaving back and forth across 3 or 4 lanes and cutting people off. To me, this is text book reckless driving. Enforce the existinglawson this.Why not have more cops in unmarked cars patrolling the roads looking for this?
