Forgot there was still a couple of you carbinated guys out there. You fall under the "Other" catagory. Besides, I never here you carb guys bit-ching about popping and sputtering.

I got a PC III and tried several maps before I found one the fit my riding style. My dealer (stealer) "dyno tuned" but it ran like crap (poping and snapping), very lean condition with white plugs; so I downloaded a bunch of maps that matched my set up or nearly so and found one that worked for power and milage.

 

Ain't nuthin' like tunin' the skoot to your ***....the oscillyscopes mean nuthin'!

at first i used the hd download, but my bike was lean and was backfiring. it ran ok. just not what i expected on a new FI bike. so i took it back and got the Race Tuner installed. it was like night and day! very happy with the race tuner! i have bought dyno jet products for my last bikes and i have found they do not improve the the performance, and crappy tech support.
