Riding with a backpack, Anyone?

RE: Riding with a backpack, Anyone?
I just want a single seat with removable pillion so when my GF wants a ride I can through it on quick.
I don't have a huge need for my saddle bags, I ride mostly around town for work and fun. I have ridden with a backpack before I think I need to ride some more with a heavy load in it and see If I like it.
Anymore input is appreciates.

I love my Baja T-bag, and the bobtail luggage rack. Only put the bag on when I need it, and the luggage rack looks cool, even when empty .
BTW the bag has backpack straps, to carry it with, when off of the bike too
Dang wish I had a pic of it with the set-up ta show ya...

Whenever I'm riding, I'm usually trying to just get away from it all. So, I don't much like the idea of taking some of it with me. Whatever it is.
Just my opinoin. Enjoy your backpack.

I don't have bags, so I use my backpack to and from work. I don't mind it on for that and it's common to see in the mornings during the work week. If I were to take it on a long trip, I would strap it to the sissy bar on the passenger pillon. I do want to get bags eventually though.

I have a computer backpack that I wear when commuting, but I much prefer riding without it. A backpack would be more of a pain as you would have to take it in with you to the store. I would prefer the saddlebags.
Unless you can give me a good deal on yours, and then I highly recommend the backpack.

Tried it, hated it for my my 35 miles to work. Maybe short rides around town but I think the best thing I ever got was my Bikers Friend. I'm not a huge fan of the looks of regular saddlebags and the BF comes off the bike in seconds for when I don't need it.

When I rode my sporty I had a back pack. Corbin single seat nad no rack. I also had a tank bag that I used when I need the space. The back pack was fine but I sure prefer using the bags on my Heritage! I have not used a backpack since and I gave away my tank bag.
