this coming sunday, 09/16, will be the one year anniversary of my accident! i can't believe it's only been a year. feels like 10.....

anyway, just wanted to share my excitement!

Thank you for everything. this weekend went well.i spent a quiet weekend with family and friends. my buddy took me on my anniversary ride around 7:00 yesterday evening. just a short, nice ride that had me smiling from ear to ear. i had forgotten the little things that you take for granted when you have been riding a while: the different scents you encounter (good and bad), the little variances in temperature as you go in valleys and over hills and such.....the bugs. anyway, yesterday went fine for me. thank you for the kind words. last nightwe went tosee 310 to Yuma. i highly recommend it.

also had the chance to spend some time with a young man who had recently undergone the amputation of his arm. very emotional for me to see him lying in his bed, hooked up to all the machines and such. i saw myself as i looked a year ago....alone, scared....anyway, it was a nice visit...

sorry for rambling. i have a tendency to do that, now. you know.....brain damage and all...
