PapaTravis, as you found out, you can not use a Jockey shifter with true dual exhausts like you and I have. To make the tank shifter, I bought a rachet top shift lever, made for older shoveheads, off Ebay and converted it to a tank shifter. I'm not sure what year Road King that you have. Baker transmissions makes a shift drum which changes the neutral position to the lowest in the gear set. Makes it easy to find neutral when rolling to a stop. Instead of: 1-N-2-3-4-5, it places N in the lowest spot. Might be worth checking into. Then you could convert to a foot clutch.

Foot clutch? Yes, you can't see it in the picture, but I converted the front gear shifter in to a clutch pedal. Notice there is no longer a clutch handle on the handlebar. Pulling away in first gear is the tricky part, once I get the bike rolling, it's a blast. Lately, I have been taking off in second gear, it is alot smoother. I have had the suicide clutch on about 2 weeks now. I still manage to kill the motor about once/trip.
