I have a blue Rocker C on order for late December (target) delivery. It will be my first Harley. I have ridden rice rockets and sake cruisers for 25 years and am finally taking the plunge.

Does anyone have an opinion on getting the HD extended warranty?

Here's a link to a thread on this forum where they discussed warranty decisions.
https://www.hdforums.com/m_2167527/tm.htm

My contribution was:

The price of a warranty is calculated as follows:
+ Projected average cost of Repairs
+ Administrative costs
+ Selling costs and commissions
+ Profit
= Price you pay for warranty

If you "self insure" you avoid the administive cost, selling cost and profit. You are left with the repair cost, which unfortunately is not an "average", but is your specific cost. If you can afford to cover the repairs yourself, then on average you will be way ahead by saying NO to the extended warranty. If you can't cover the repair costs, and you need to have a working bike, then buy the warranty.

Rocker seat feels like a cinderblock! Bottom of the tank needs to be curved to give the bike "flow". Diving board passanger seat is only fit for a girl named Anna.
Anna Rexic.

Seth, was this a legit question or are you tryin' to stir it up?

I like the look of the raked front but I wish they'd have just given it a softail style rear fender, maybe with the fender support struts on the inside.

And like Nick points out, the line of the tank is wrong. It doesn't flow with the rest of the bike. To fix they they need to either give it a regular softail fender, or they need to raise the height at the frame neck in my opinion.
