RE: High beams or low beams?
If youins want to be seen so much, why not wear a pink with purple poka dot clothes and put some flashing battery powered led lights up and down your arms and legs. and mount one of those orange safety cones on top off your helmet???????????????????????????????????????[8D].

Unfortunately, in March of last yeara stupid dumb broad pulled out from a stop sign right in front of me, I ended up dumping my bike avoiding her and ripped my right ankle tendon in half,
Lost three months of work,
I will let your comment stand as is till your day comes,
And with your attitude, it will,[sm=closed.gif]

three on low. prefer the quantity of light. my passin lights turn off when on hi so when i approach intersections, i rotate from hi to low to get the maximum oscillating effect with the passing lights/main light, i figure that really enhances my visibility

I run with high during the day time and with no traffic on backroads at night. Pursuit/passing lights, all the time. My RK is a former Sheriff bike with the pursuit/passing lights independantly switched. At night if high is on and I have oncomming cars, I switch back to low.

Low beam with passing lamps on most of the time for me. At night when alone on the road I'll use high to see the deer sooner than later. Also, when about to pass a tractor trailer, I'll flick my high on and off a few times (which of course turns my passing lamps off and on) to let them know my intentions - - as well as signaling when it's safe to pull back in front of me if just passed by a B orC train (truckers seem to respect this).

Looking to clarify -Sounds like many are saying that it's low beams & amber running lights or high beans / no amber running lights. My '07 Nightrain's amber running lights are always on,highbeam or low.Is this something they went to on the '07's or what ?
