I've been riding low day and night but would consider "high" during the day. I'm sure I'd end up forgetting to switch them all the time.

In my sportbike days, I would high-beam it during the day. Now with the RKC, and the three lights, I stay on low-beam...I figure three lights on low are better than one on high.

I like to ride with high beams during the day especially on the two-lane roads where passing is available.

Low beams unless I'm on an empty road at night. I hate looking at high beams especially at dusk so I try to show other folks on the road the same consideration.

High beams are legal in CA both day & night.

High beam during day light hours.
If I had engine guards, I would also attach running lights, down low on them. I was watching a Police bike coming up on me from quite a ways back. He had the low mounted running lights attached to the engine guard. It made the bike very visible. I thought he was after me, but he flew on by.
