Highs during the day and at night it'straffic dependent. Looking at gettting a modulator though, and I still have to rig up my passing lights to work with the high beams on.

If I didn't have the passinglamps on my bike that are on all the time, I'd use my highbeam. When I turn the highbeam on it shuts off the passing lamps. I think the passing lamps and the headlight make you more visible that a highbeam though.

Low beam with passing lamps day & night. At night, if no traffic, then high beams so I can see farther down the road. Hate to outrun my lights.

Actually It pisses me off when people do not consider other drivers and do not dim their lights. The older you get the harder it is on your eyes,You Will See!!! I drive a lot at night, and some vehicles with low beams are blinding, especially Ford trucks. Then you throw in the rain it becomes even more of a problem. How about giving us older bikers a thought. My Harley light is more than enough to see where I am going on low beam, especially for the short time you need it on.Dog

I run my passing lamps all the time with my low beams, but as soon as make the change to run my highs with the passing lamps I'll have them on all the time. It goes without saying that I don't run high beams in traffic at night, thats just common sense and courtesy.

Am I to understand that the use of hi beams during the day actually presents a visibility problem for oncoming traffic? Am I to understand that using the hi beam during the day can actually blind an oncoming driver or, at the very least, **** the driver off?

Could someone please clarify this for me.
