You didn't state whether you wore colors or not. If you do, you're probably going to have an encounter or two. If you don't, you won't have any problems. Commonsense dictates that you don't go to the places they hang out, party, ordrink. If you don't go looking for trouble, they won't bother you.

RE: Question about colors.
You could check into your local area Confederation of Clubs (CoC) and find out the details about all the clubs in your area, not just the Bandidos.

RE: Question about colors.
it is all about respect
show them some and you will recieve some
colors or not has nothing to do with it
the San Antonio chapter is a very strong and proud chapter and they keep getting stronger the further south you go

RE: Question about colors.
COC is in San Antonio: http://www.coctexas.org/sanantonio.htm
I am also in San Antonio. See them all the time.
There are a few other clubs regularly seen in the area.
I have never, repeat NEVER, had a problem with any of them.
I've also never seen them start any trouble at public get-togethers.
I wouldn't give much credence to what your neighbor has told you.
