Default Texas Hill Country Ride

Our crew took a little trip last weekend to the Texas Hill Country. If you haven't been you are missing a great treat. We stayed with Deb at the D'Rose Inn, a little motorcycle only Inn, in Leakey TX. Great place and great roads. Only had one day to ride once we got there but it was worth the 350 miles we rode from North Tx to see it.

I hope to return soon and stay a little longer. Here are a few pic.s that don't do the place justice.

Yup, D'rose is a popular place I guess. I really liked the cabins. You will need 2 or three days to see everything, like I said I can't wait to go back. Guess I better book reservations now. Have fun and enjoy!

Having grown up and spent most of my life nearby (in Uvalde).. I always look forward to seeing pics when someone takes a ride through there. I spent a lot of time riding around Leakey and Camp Wood on my old CB100 back in the day. It was REALLY nice to go back last July and make the same rides on the Ultra... Someday, it will be home again.

We'll be down in Fredricksburg the last weekend of September for a family reunion. Won't be able to do much riding but we are planning another trip down about the middle of October. We'll probably stay in Kerrville then ride south of the freeway on Saturday.

Great riding in the area.
