Default Sturgis???

I went to Sturgis this year. Many things scared me.
[ol][*]I was truly scared of was the police. They were constantly vigilant watching for any person having too much fun. The good news was that an aluminum step-van with a permanent counter affixed to the side with a sliding window and officer will gladly take your money for the fine and save you the hassle of going to jail or waste time going downtown posting a bond. 1 stop shopping.[*]Police towing your vehicle[*]$3.00 + gas/gal. when the state next to it had fuel for $2.50[*]$5.00 bike parking[*]$9 hamburgers at the bar and $6 beers also scared me lots.[*]$4,500 for house rent for the week[*]$2,500 to $5,000 venders space on Main street[*]$600 for a vender license (but you get a roll of free garbage bags)
[/ol]
[ul][*]Scary things are numerous. I was so scared that I would never go there again (especially when the town has another whole year to think of ways to improve their income).[*]Daytona is pretty much the same way.[*]To do 1 run on the East Coast, I am going to Leesburg. Hope the town does not ruin it.[*]As far as riding, there are many great places to ride as long as you are riding. [/ul]

Wednesday of Sturgis week, the Wyoming town of Heulett puts on a big breakfast feed. Bikers by the thousands attend. As Wyoming has about two cops per 10,000 square miles, vs Sturgis two cops per block (on all four sides) things get pretty "free and easy."

It is a genuinely good time. Unfortunately you're about 10 years late for Hulett. It's a tiny town across the Wyoming border that makes a nice stop on your "Devils Tower" day--usually "Wyoming Wednesday". It used to be wide open (their slogan was "biker freedom the way it should be") but now it's just wall to wall people hoping for a glimpse of something and "no panties wednesday" has turned into a myth that keeps the newbies interested. But like most things there, don't take my word for it, see for yourself. That's part of the fun. And if you do go the Hulett senior citizens group serves a nice lunch at their place on the main drag. The little old ladies do the cooking and baking and you know your money is going to a good cause, not some event promoter.

Ahem. Would I get in trouble if I post a picture to back up my post?

Meanwhile, I'll just post a link...

If I were you I'd stay out of the mens room. It sounds as if the Ladies room would be more appropriate for yourself.

He's riding there, not flying through Minneapolis.
