The channel has been stuffed. Temporary plant closures coming. Zeiss to continue to enjoy his back of dicks while rubbing his merse (or whatever he named his man bag). MoCo to raise fees and option prices to cover lower sales volume. MoCo to cross brand other products such as condoms that leak, home stereos that wont turn on, and rainbow sherbet gelato.

I agree the Motor Company has some serious problems overall.
They'll probably just raise the price of their t-shirts and clothes.

Everyone needs to curb the hysteria. Every news item about Harley is apparently a reason to associate it with every silly grievance. Chill the F out.

Actually If I am correct , I believe they are manufactured in Spirit Lake Iowa.

I agree. I was in the dealer last weekend looking around and the showroom is packed. Prices reduced on the tags and incentives like X number of dollars in free gear but still high to the point I wont buy a new bike.

Boomers are dying off. 76 million born, 9 million left and how many are buying new Harleys?
Gen X is busy putting their kids through college or university or flight school (like me) so they can maybe afford a house when they graduate and have a great job. Forget about buying a $50k motorcycle that will be worth $20K in 5 years. That would be pretty dumb.
Gen Z I don't think is interested in a $50K motorcycle from what I've seen in my circle of friends but they do like motorcycles in general, especially the older iron like shovels and classic sport bikes. Cost is the number one issue but the other is they don't want tech in a bike.

The new touring bikes, to me, appear bloated and cluttered looking. The big screen TV looks like it belongs in a Tesla not on a motorcycle.

Maybe their slump is product related.
The giant screen is what I like about my FLHTK. I wish they would go digital speedometers too, big font. What I like about my 2015 is all it can do for music. You can always turn it off.

My next new bike will have a TFT display, the bigger the better. The less time I spend trying to read instruments, the more time I spend looking at the road and my surroundings.
