Heated gear for long rides. Not unusual to climb back on the bike to warm up. Too much trouble for short rides though. Damn, I do miss those short rides in a tee shirt and jeans.

The hunting seasons have started here and the shorter days and a high deer population is the bigger problem than the weather in my neck of the woods!

I'll keep riding here in IL until the roads get covered with leaves, That is when I stop. No slippery leaves for me. I come back out when all the salt is washed away.

As long as the daytime highs are in the fifties, the bikes are ready to ride. After that, I'll try to pick a good day to wash the bikes and top off the tanks for winter storage. I'm done with cold weather riding.
