We Ride Year Round
Here in NC we easily ride March through November. We have to be more selective in December, January and February. I’m always looking ahead for those nice weather days that pop up.
One year we led about six bikes to ride the Snake over to Shady Valley, TN on New Year’s Day. We have ridden the BRP many times in January.
The picture below was taken with friends near the Viaduct on a January day back in 2018 if memory serves me right.
The temperature is not a problem. Worst is usually in the 30’s and with heated gear you are fine. The key is clean DRY roadways.

"Rage, rageagainstthe dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rageagainstthe dying of the light." - Dylan Thomas
Screw puttin' 'em away! I keep 'em ready to go. If the weather's warm just before Christmas, the Oko monster rides around dressed as Santa. And with a new to me red sled with sidecar, I told the lil' woman to shop for a Mrs. Claus or sexy elf costume.

Nah... Not yet, plenty of decent days even here in WI before that needs to happen. Mid to end of Nov... (Maybe), some years it's mid Dec before they first dump salt and brine.
Fall just started, that is the absolute best riding time. Colors, smells... etc...
