I just hope the folks going down after Milton will realize that things may not be normal and available. Everything from people available to work restaurants, event booths, delivery folks, cleaning staff. And supplies may not be flowing well in two weeks.
Know that you will not get a discount because of the damage/recovery going on and things not being 90% ready.
Hoping that those going down will not be the ugly tourist that I see too frequently.

Praying for all those people in harms way. Worst storm to hit Tampa since 1921.

Biketoberfest 2016 was a little bit subdued as well as surreal. Milton could be worse for the Daytona area. I too remember the closed sections of I-95 and bumper to bumper traffic on secondary roads in the Carolinas.
I'm certainly not a Main Street fan and can't remember the last time I was at Destination Daytona but I do like getting away, being around (mostly) like-minded folks and lots of bikes.
I pray for those in the path of the storm. Tomorrow night should be revealing; hopefully it will lose strength.
