A garage queen followed me home.....
I picked up another early birthday gift to myself. Seems I've been doing it every few years. After a 1056-mile round trip to Columbus, Ohio, I now have a 2010 Ultra Limited with Champion sidecar. Less than 10k on the one owner FLHTK and rig. A true garage queen! $11,400
I'd been looking and was zero'd in on one in Indiana, then found this on Craigslist.
The good:
In August of this year, the owner did the 3-hole oil change. along with 3-new tires.
The Champion hack is optioned nicely. The bike came with a couple of covers. Luggage bags. HD trickle charger. HD hand air pump for shocks. Even an HD kickstand pad. Three sets of wired HD headsets. (non-blue tooth).
The cons with this rig: HD Screaming Eagle tune pkg. IMO - still too lean. Hillside Cycle will be taking care of this. Maybe a little cam upgrade.
And HD air shocks. Buh-bye!
After checking all service records, I have no idea how old the battery is. So a new one it is.
Hack windshield has a fracture pattern. It's intact, but I will replace this.
In the second photo the hack fender is removed as I didn't want it scratched on the trailer. The whole rig just fit!
And now let the spending commence! Coming soon: lowered brake pedal. Drivers backrest. Floorboard spacers. LED lighting upgrades. Kissan headlight modulator. Mini beast air horn.
I just don't know how to break this news to the Ural. Maybe some vodka?

The Ural cool factor is off the charts. But, reliability wise, not so much. I have a very good "copy" (unit). And I got it sorted the way I like it.
Keep it until it start costing me rubles, I guess.........
