170 /60 R -17 it’s 6.5 in wide and will fit on my 2005 Deuce .

Yes the center has about 1/8 inch more rubber then the sidewalls . Which is the way a motorcycle tire should be made . Since 90% of most guys never wear out their chicken strips . And maybe just maybe a tire competitor will see this tire and make something like it .

I thought the same thing, then it occurred to me that with this much groove in the tread, there is actually LESS rubber touching the road than with a more traditional street tire pattern; which leads me to suspect the mileage will actually be less.

Think about how running a set of mud terrain tires vs a set of radials works... the reduced surface contact area means more wear. And they are louder , which probably won't make any noticeable change on the bike.
This should provide tremendous traction on loose ground though.
