Years ago, a guy was headed to Lake George for Americade - needed new tired yet decided they would be a bit cheaper at the rally. Unfortunately, he had a blow out on the way and both rider and passenger died.
For the OPs post, it does look like he has some life left. Don't think he said how many miles he had on it. I can usually get about 20K on my tires - but if I am taking a long trip, I will change it when it gets close. Just like new rubber.
Only have 10K on my current ire so I will probably be good the rest of this year and all of next. Only did about 7K this year.

I'll have you know, I don't have a "$25-$30K" Harley, and... don't you use coupons when you shop for tires?
Just pullin' yer leg CFB. But, while HAVING money is typically a prerequisite to SPENDING money, you don't need to spend money simply because you have it. That said, I wouldn't recommend flipping toilet paper over to double its value, but, if someone felt the need to do it (and doesn't require me to do the same), I'd say have at it, but I'm not shaking your hand!
To each their own. No offense intended. Just all in good fun and discussion.
