The insurance people picked up my bike (write off) a couple of weeks ago and I am missing it badly.
I am going to have to exercise patience as I want to wait until next year's models come out before buying a replacement - I want to see what they do with the FLHTK in 2025....

I think they are going to do more than just colour changes - if they don't discontinue the 2025 FLHTK I think it will get the new fairing that is on the 24 Street glide and the 117 engine as well...

 

My money is on them not bringing back the FLHTK due to the build options available to the ‘24 Street Glide that can pretty much turn it into an FLHTK.

 

I think you are right - chances are high they will discontinue the FLHTK - I'm banking on them having more integrated options to "level up" a Street glide to FLHTK spec next year, so I am hanging on till next year's model release.

 

How long will you go without a bike,or do you have another?

 

No I don't have another bike. I am going to go without until about March next year - I am going to give them about 3 months in the new year (2025) to hopefully address any bugs in the new year's model.
I do have a car to do the shopping on weekends - I tend to take the bus to work on weekdays as car parking is too expensive $14 AUD / day.

 

I like that 3 months to get the bugs out. That's great. They use to never get them out and just come out with a new generation.

 

As a premium priced color.
