Chuck Taylors are my riding boot of choice too even though I could use the extra hight of my normal Harley boots ( that I sometime use) , I'm all about Chuck Taylers however a bit slick with fresh rain / oil mix on the road.

No matter what you wear, make sure the soles are oil resistant.

Sneakers and boots with thin leather soles will put you on your *** if you happen to step into a little sand or oil while maneuvering the bike into a parking spot...

I`m a big fan of oil resistant Vibram soles.

I bought these after I tried a pair in the store. I love them. I had been looking for years to replace a pair of USA made wolverines I had since 07 and resoled twice. These fit and feel great to me.

Being slip resistant is an absolute must in Las Vegas - the roads are super slippery at stop lights. These work great, and I really dig the lacing system.

Some of you guys don’t fear your feet getting mangled.
Frye engineers boots (tall) or Corcoran jump boots,
No foam rubber soles, or fabric for me.
