If it's a liquid balancing product that's good but flat fixer, not so much. That stuff makes a mess.

The only thing would that mess up things if your bike has TPMS?

The no-spill seems to have mostly positive reviews vs others. What's your take?

When a wheel is mounted on the balancer, check the bearings by holding one of the mount cones and spin the wheel, if there's any roughness or catch, your going to feel it.
So now we need the bearing tools and maybe keep some new bearings on hand.

That makes sense. Thanks

I do not think they are recommended when running TPMS.

I actually like them. They work very well and even turned at 90 degrees they do not leak until I press the button.

i have previously used ride-on in my tires that had tpms. i had no problems. the only problem i have with it now is that it is so damned expensive. it's bad enough paying almost $500 for 2 tires, then to add another $70-80 just for the ride-on? no thanks. i'll use weights.

(but it is well known that i am a cheap bastard™, ymmv)

I use these on my 2019 FLHTP. I'll never have to balance wheels on this bike again. And the wheels stay balanced.

I do not change my own tires for several reasons but these come to mind:
  1. My knuckles do not heal as well as they used to.
  2. My sheet rock repair skills are not that great when I throw the tire iron across the garage in frustration.
  3. My neighbor kids have been traumatized by the profanity that comes from my garage.
62 here also, plus severely disabled back so that I'm in pain 24/7, and now, after two years ago getting T-boned and my left leg getting snapped in two (compound fracture) and three metal cages in the ankle and knee and a metal rod from knee to ankle inside the big shin bone...I still do it by hand. In the summer is the worst, naturally, because I sweat just *seeing* the sun in the summer. But I got it better than you...my 'garage' is only three walls (a three car car-port with tin put on it around three sides to the ground so it's enclosed), and just tin roof tin for 'walls', I can throw anything I want and don't get any holes, lol. In the winter when I have to change a tire, is bad too in it's own way, as if it's middle of winter and 40 degrees (or colder) during the day, the hands *will* get bad cold no matter how much the rest of the body is sweating, and gloves don't help any and things seem to hurt a hell of a lot worse when you bang your hand/fingers when they're freezing than it does in the summer. Can't get a nice machine like you or the others as the floor of my 'garage' is dirt and on a slight slope. Got it facing the right way though so that snow nor rain get inside it except for a few feet at most. I just keep seeing it all as an adventure, lol.
