What a nice day!
Gave my son a ride to work at 7:45. He's having car trouble.
Came home, gave the bike a quick cleanup. Took off for a solo ride.
It was about as beautiful a morning as you could ever ask for. Blue sky, 64F when I left. So clear you could still see the moon even though it was daylight.
I rode south on Ohio Rte 199, to a little fly speck of a town called Scotch Ridge. There I picked up Ohio Rte 105 which follows the Portage river, some nice twisties. I saw a peregrin falcon on a wire along the road.
At this point I actually told God thanks for the beautiful day as I rode.
Once I hit Oak Harbor I picked up Rte 163 and followed it into Port Clinton on the shore of lake Erie. The lake looked nice, good views.
Grabbed a burger at Wendys, and rode back home in time to watch Ohio State win and see Michigan lose to what was supposed to be a warm up opponent, Applalachain State.
It don't get any better.

Pretty nice day here too...took off about 10:00 AM...rode upGolden Gate canyon then dropped down to Blackhawk, tore up the buffet at the Ameristar, got a little ahead on the Blackjack table, and then lostit allin the slots ...got back into town and rolled by the "Taste of Colorado" celebration downtown (flagrantly violating the stamped pipe law)...put in 150 miles or so...almost ran the tank dry [sm=smiley20.gif]
