Got my MC endorsement thru the job, three days at Floyd Bennett airfield, cold windy days.
Rode around on a Yamaha 175 scooter whenever I wanted.
I would get lectured to not ride in below freezing temps.
They would forget, and I'd ride anyway.
Bicycle too, unless torrential rain.

I officially retired 24 years ago.
Since then, I have had an employer that allows (actually encourages) me to ride as much as I want to wherever I want as long as my "duties and responsibilities" are correctly and promptly performed, which is a job that I have aspired to all of my life!
The "downside" to this FULL TIME job is that I am the ONLY employee which means that I do every job (big, small, pleasant or unpleasant, easy or difficult) and I have no grievance procedure or no recourse as my employer is my wife!

I don't work anymore because of disability but when I worked for google I was able to log out of work whenever I wanted and go do whatever. As long as I got my min of 27 hours a week they didnt care my hours.
Was nice to be able to get bored, log out, and go play games. Wish I had a bike back then lol.
