When I was 23 years old and single in 1961 I lived with the Brunelle family at Brunelle's Boat Marina on the Connecticut River in South Hadley, MA. I had a three point hydroplane like the one below with an oversize, hopped up, racing Mercury outboard on it (X-Class). I challenged anybody and everybody that wanted to race. In a straight run it would fly like a rocket. In a tight turn it was suicide. During the two years I owned it, I never lost a race.

 

I raced a 99 corvette in the Corvette Chalenge.... Took third. Ran a 13 flat.

 

Check out Spiderman McBride his bike does 5.78 seconds in the quarter mile @234 mph 0-100 in 2 secounds now that is moving!!!!!

 

Used to drag race all the time before we had a local track,both cars and Harleys.Now satisfied with big inch motors,passing anything I want, and roll-on's.
