Someone in the engineering department just wanted to have some fun. I sure don't know why. As bad as access is on my 2018 Harley, my 2019 Indian is way more difficult access, even with an extension hose. The brake rotor is really close to the valve stem.

 

Just researched the part number for the 90-degree valve stem, 35,00 Euro which comes out $39.00 and it's an aftermarket vendor. FYI

 

They did it to **** me off, and make me spend more money.

These are quite intereting. I dont know if they'd work on my wheels but the gold ones would be awesome.

 

I bought a set of 90°, aluminum valve stems and the shop couldn't set the bead of the tire because the flow rate wasn't high enough.
My buddy has a set that worked just fine though, so buyer beware.

 

Doesn't matter. The back wheel on a bagger is a PITA wherever they put it.

 

You know when you have had it way to easy in life or first world problems when you cry on social media where a valve stem is located.

 

It`s in a PITA location.

Get a valve stem extension and a 90-degree tire gauge to carry on the bike, and a 90-degree inflator for the garage.

Get a yellow paint stick, mark a dot on the tire where the valve stem is.

It makes it a little easier to get the wheel into the position where you can check the pressure.
