Harleys move to Thailand.

It appears (emphasis on appears) that anything remotely political gets moved to the paid-only forums. If I had to guess, it's an effort to keep spicy things from being out in the open. Obviously anyone can pay to see what's behind the curtain, but they do have to take that initial step.
The unfortunate side effect of the move is that you lose access to threads that you've participated in.

It's a Wall Street Journal article, and unless you subscribe to them, you can't read the article via a link. I downloaded the posted file - it's safe. It's also just a political opinion piece..

I don't and have never paid to come here. I can go to the POD just like everyone else. They don't publicize the POD, it doesn't come up in the new threads search, etc. Probably because it's embarrassing...

if referring to POD, I don't think that could be it, as I don't pay to play there.
I've "heard" that new peeps have no access from now on
It "used" to be, (when I got here in '19) you had to have so many posts before you see there was a POD (then you could enter the "octagon" )
Don't know if that's true now, or if new peeps will miss all the fun completely ?
..L.T.A. .

What makes it cost prohibitive to build in the U.S.A. isn't the cost of labor. If we didn't have to pay so much in taxes we employees wouldn't need to make $25-$50 per hour.
It's America's taxes, permits, licensing and environmental fees, Insurance costs, and all the red tape businesses must go through and pay to manufacture in the U.S.
Our government is forcing jobs overseas for "environmental" reasons. To countries with no EPA and coal fired powered plants.
Hell, a Cargo ship going from Asia to our West Coast will burn 63,000 gallons of diesel fuel a day for 15 days to get here. That's almost a million gallons of diesel . Yet we need to subsidize/mandate electric cars in America.
