As others have said, rotate the bars and maybe pullback risers. I immediately changed the seat on my 17 slim when I bought it. The stock seat is a cheap, hard piece of crap. I got a Corbin and it is night and day. Read about the rider triangle so you can see how your back, arm, and leg positions affect your comfort. If you get the bars and seat right, you'll transform the ride. Just so you can see the Corbin, here's mine. And yes, I still need to get the passenger seat to match. Also, this seat does have a slot in the back for a driver backrest as others have suggested.
