true but it will show -12 volts if your leads are reversed and the mm is connected to the right pins on the pig tail.

Try this - as someone noted earlier, see if the bike will start. This way you will know if the battery has some life.
Next, most tenders come with alligator clips. Also, the batter for the Wing is real easy to get to - just take the side cover off. Now connect the alligator clips to the battery and let it charge.

My fleet farm charger works on harleys, snowmobiles, sxss, lawn mowers, ect. Some of those came with factory plugs. I would check polarity. is everythingverything normal with the bike? Just putting on tender? Is there a fuse as said? Should be able to put a meter on the plug on bike and see power.
