I just checked their website, no clothes for sale. The "OF" NYC at the bottom looks weird like that is a Walmart knock off or something.

There was a ruckus over who owned the name, must be 20-30 years ago. I have a shirt somewhere that says New York, New York during a time they were not allowed to say NYC. Then that got worked out and they went back to NYC. All marketing BS, there were three other dealerships in New York City, they are in Queens, Brooklyn HD, Lombardi in Staten Island and I can't remember the name of the guy in the Bronx.

Then they opened a Boutique in Times Square, I am sure they sold a ton of NYC shirts there.

I don't like shirts that have almost the entire back covered with logos. They tend to stick like glue when the going gets sweaty. And it's not a question of being able to afford one, I just think that 70 USD for a t-shirt is freakin' insane.

This looked cool in the early 90s when it was less money and the company deserved support.

No...the RUBS were buying t-shirts then. The rest of us were buying bootleg and infringing on copyrights and trademarks! We would have shirts printed that were not complimentary to HD corporate at that time. So this new issue is the just a different reason and era.

Did I say it wasn't? It's freakin' insane too.

That why my latest (and last Harley) is a '95 model.
