News outlets are reporting a downward trend in attendance this year. Some put the number as a 5.1 percent downward trend.

The interesting thing is a British paper called the rally "hedonistic". Never heard that word used before in regards to the Rally. Hmmm

And the first (and very accurate) comment on the article:

Let's see... 1326 trouble makers out of a half million people? That's 0.3 percent. So the other 99.7 percent either were just having a good time and didn't do anything wrong (or didn't get caught)? Those are probably better percentages that Lallapalooza or Burning Man. They are certainly better than Chicago or any other big city.

Our wonderful news organizations really go out of their way to try and make certain groups (political or otherwise) look bad.
That's why I prefer to hang with biker folks. They usually only tend to give you trouble if you ask for it!

I even got a spot with shade.

There were also less people in the busier spots. Wait until next year; the 85th.
Will the beer be colder or the bands better?

According to one Youtube "expert", it's because H-D went woke. He tried to show how empty the Demo tent was (probably at 7AM), and claimed there is a big boycott going on.
I think we're all supposed to burn our bikes now. My Evo and Shovel are pre-woke, so I'm good. I was gonna get a vanity plate with that on it, but they only do 6 letters.

There were 3 deaths this year, two self inflicted and one because of some dummy going to fast thru a turn.

I watched a couple this past week. Good God! They’re awful!

The last one had Eric Estrada of CHIPS fame.
In the early 70's one of those was made starring Joe Namath! I found it on my Roku. It was so bad that after 5 minutes I turned it off! "C.C. and Company".

Those arrests were just the idiots who dont know how to act. Most criminals dont want to attract attention to themselves.

I wonder how many were arrested for playing loud music?
