It may sound corny but on several occasions i've seen several riders with HD clothing (tee's and such)then when you see their ride it's a honda or other metric.I used to own a metric(98 aero)b4 my HD and wore regular biker tee's and such but the generic ones nothing HD because i didnt own one.I've also even seen metric bikes with HD logos and stickers,evenaccessoriesindicating it was an HD.It just seems wrong to me,maybe i'm minority but it just doesnt seem right,seems kind of goofy.

 

Goofy, sure.

But it shows where their hearts are, and cash supply are not at yet.

Or so I would hope.

 

It doesn't bother me, they can buy and wear what ever they want. The moco makes big bucks selling HD clothing and accesories to non owners. To each his own.

 

I think if someone doesn't feel secure with their brand choice of ride, then they should have in some way have boughtHarley in the first place. Why pretend????? Many of the metric options are just as expensive as the Harleys today.

Those....want a be Harleys riders......just need to add a little bit of fertilizer withwater and sprinkle it everyday on theirbikes. One day it just might growup to be a Harley...........

 

I'm not bashing anyone by any means.It just doesnt fit.I had one of those HD jean sleevless shirts given to me as a gift when i owned my honda aero,and it sat in my closet for along while. My wife would ask me why i never wore it and i told her because i dont own one.When i get one i'll wear it.It sat for a long while until i got my HD.It was my first shirt worn afterwards.Other wise it would look like wearing a 3 pc suit with sandals.

 

Ya never know. The other day, I was riding my daughter's Yamaha wearing my HD shirt. We own two HD's, a Suzuki and a Yamaha. Don't judge a book by its cover.

 

I always get a kick outa the "BUY UNION" stickers on import cars.

When I had my Ninja I would ride it with whatever shirt I happened to have on and chances are it was a HD shirt. My buddy has a 07 Ultra and he rides his custom bike (Vulcan) with his HD shirts on.

To each their own, if they want to ride with a Harley shirt on it doesn't bother me. Chances are their finances are not where they should be to own a Harley. Besides, they do have some really cool looking shirts.

 

I don't know what you would call this but I own a harley and have a few Indian Motorcycle t-shirts I like to wear. Just cause I think Indian motorcycles are kewl.

 

My brother, who rides a Fatty and a Gixxer, always wears his HD jacket on the Suzuki.

I still wear my Triumph shirts when riding my HD .. even though I no longer own one. I'm one of those guys who really couldn't care less about that kind of image stuff . . [8D]
