Mission of the baggers

"It's more fun to drive a slow car fast, than a fast car slow"
I don't care that a completely stock Ducati Panigale out the box will lap have a higher stop speed, brake better, and lap faster.
It's awesome seeing these massive machines pushed to their mechanical limits, and knowing that aftermarket companies (and HD & Indian themselves) are using that data and experience to make our bikes better.

The mission?
As mentioned... pushed to mechanical limits to make better bikes.
Perhaps to show that baggers can be good at handling.
Spur up sales and accessory purchases.
Get people talking about Harley.
But, a mini van in Nascar, LOL.
A bagger's weight and design are not necessarily designed for lap records.
I do not watch the series.

So it's often called Mission King of the Baggers.

I love the bagger racing and seeing a race in person is incredible. If that sound doesn’t get your blood going are you really into bikes at all?
Riding your bike around the track on a “parade” lap in the Circuit of Americas with the throttle pinned a lot of the time like I did will show you real quick just how much ***** these guys have.
The track times are insane when you thing about it, into sportbike territory.
I like how the knowledge they get on these teams is translated into the bikes and the aftermarket, improving things all around.
I’m a fan. I wish more people were.
