For those who enjoy riding with their pack.

I am usually in front, but prefer to be in the back. Nobody wants to step up and take charge.
I do like the mix.. sometimes riding slow for the scenery.. but I also like the “unspoken sneak races” Sooner or later you just feel the pack pushing… sometimes you hear the exhaust note that they all stealth like snuck back a gear and they’re casually creeping up to drop the hammer. The games we play. The Busa’s and that CB1000R are obvious.. they aren’t good at sneaky. They crouch down and spool up their jet sounding whine. Now the modified Triumph 1200R Thruxton… he’s sneaky. Never never let them get the best outta Harley. Nope leave ‘em, wait for em.. and arrive comfortable while they stretch their backs lol.
I see threads trashing on the Sportster S.. but dude in our group did some awesome custom drag pipes, air box and tune. He’s a force. And the others don’t know what to think with him ditching his cbr600 for Harley. I see the doubt in their brow the confusion as they hear him say “this is way better”. They look at their modern blow dryer plastic bikes and secretly dream of the greener grass.
We take Harley for granted in a way. I see comments in threads like “if I wanted speed I’d get a crotch rocket” or “Harleys aren’t built for that” Says who? These days we can ride in style and comfort, have 150-170 hp between our legs at the same time. Group rides are awesome. Love the banter when we arrive. Love shots at each other. Fun stuff. Ya beat a Harley with a crotch rocket nobody cares. But if a Harley beats a crotch rocket their whole world and belief system crumbles lol. You become legend and everyone is questioning what they thought they knew.

Need more pic’s of our group rides.. I need to figure out how to load my action 3 camera footage.
This pic above was a fun night.. All these fast bike giving each other a run, that poor Dyna that was bone stock can’t keep up. We got stuck in super slow traffic the whole way, like 40 mph tops… When we got to this brewery and the Dyna dude comes in, He says all straight face, “Man that was a great ride, I really got to open my Harley up and stretch the road” comedic timing way just awesome.
