Quit feeding the troll! Or better yet, put the whiny bastard on your 'ignore' list. It actually does supply a little humor into ones day once in a while, when you open a thread and see one of his posts closed up with a 'View post' button and you never have to click it. I came into this thread because I knew I'd pick up on what the fool was up to once again, just by the tone of everyone replying to it/him, and it was exactly as I was sure it would be. LMAO

Here's the jackass himself...

LMAO. He is always shitting on other people’s threads then strutting around like a banty rooster. Now, he is getting a taste of his own ****. I mean medicine.

It would be interesting to see his handy work assuming it is real.

Directions for installation looks to be pretty straight forward for installing the new series replacement pump kit.

See attached.

Mine has not failed, my trike came with the new style pump.

If you are nice I might take a couple of pictures of all the hose routing etc, so you can see how everything is together so you can get your cover on.

All you need to do is ask nicely, no need to say please, just ask.

Why is it taking a week to change a water pump? Am I missing something here, or is this a major job?

I been riding it.

Doing it again it would go faster. I still don't believe it is a 1 hour job. Picturing how everything goes took me a bit. You can spend close to an hour with the lowers.

You had one fail on your last bike. What was the mileage it failed at?

I an not sure what the M8 looks like. But the issue with this is the made a M8 pump fit a TC. TC pump had 4 ports, and M8 2. M8 sure looks simplier. I don't ;like all the criss crossing long hoses, and worry about rubbing.

The real issue is the scabbed half assed liquid cooling on a existing bike. They should have just done a new motor and radiator in the front like every other bike. But the interior decorator Willie G didn't like that.

I just had my 2015 coolant pump w/29,500 miles on my Ultra Limited replaced this week with the new style pump and hoses. No big deal..."stuff happens"! (btw...the cost for parts and labor and tax was just a few cents less than $995.)

FYI....I asked the head mechanic at the dealership whether they had to remove the lower fairings when installing the new pump.....he said NO. They've done enough of them to know how to do the job without the need.

Interesting!!

I didn't completely remove the lowers either but you have to take them apart. I am sure as much as they fail, Harley mechanics know some tricks

But the reason we have this is people like you, who don't mind spending a $1k to be Harleys R&D

Also learn how to turn a wrench, if you want to own a Harley

Next new bike, I will look at indians. Not saying will buy. But before this wouldn't look.

Buddies M8 engine was taken out by lifter, I suppose you consider that just part of the experience
