Obviusly not what it was, but I have enjoyed it. Again, people who have not been there talk about how bad it is. I really didn't . Sure lots of people but lots of places for the people to go and everyone is staffed up to handle it. Sure you want to park your bike downtown it is going to suck.

Read your post and cracked up, immediately pictured a dude moving a frame around to different spots at the rally

Big titty blond: "which bike is yours",
Roundone: "oh, its that rusty frame over by the black street glide"

You ever strip a harley down to the frame? Is the only crank you play with, your own?

Ok, I'll give in to peer pressure.

From my house to Sturgis is 1400-1500 miles one-way depending on the route. 2 or 3 days up, 2-3 days there, 2-3 days back. That's a long-@ss run on a scoot I don't care who you are. I'm at the point where I'm gonna just leave it to you young whippersnapppers.

My dad with mom on back in his late 70's rode from Washington state to Maine and back home. You are only as old as you think you are.

I was fortunate enough to get to Sturgis in 07. However, it was a trailered trip in a motor home. Hope to get back again sometime.

In 2019, we rode 2 up from just outside Seattle to Popham Beach, Maine. Visited 38 states, 3 provinces. I’m 77 now and we were headed to the black hills, but we took a little long weekend run down to hells canyon and her sciatic nerve hurt her so much getting on and off the bike, we cancelled for now. I’ll ride there solo after all the crowds go home. September is looking like a good time for a couple of weeks to head that direction. A few years ago I rode to Alaska and back. She stayed home, so her brother and I met in the black hills and rode to Fairbanks and then around Alaska. Out hotel burned and we had to grab what we could and flee Anchorage.

Getting to our bikes and getting them moved as fire trucks arrived and laying hoses everywhere.

That’s our room, we are just down the street from Anchorage Harley.

What it looked like from the street in front of Harley on Spenard.

You don’t have an adventure unless you live it. If you can, you must. If you quit, make excuses, well that’s a choice as well. Now serious medical issues, that is an entire battle on its own and is what will catch up to all of us. I have a lot of empathy for those dealing with serious health restrictions. It’s just not my time yet.
