Oof, that is high...

For future reference, I have bought a 3-hole oil change kit by Maxima from the guys over at 2lane life on a couple occasions and it's worked out great.
The kit includes engine, primary and transmission oils, filter, and o rings for $132.99

Fortunately I can still do my own oil changes.

AMSOIL is my oil of choice and it’s 35% cheaper than the Harley price.

Nice, ill screenshot that!

You need to find you a good indy for that crap. I paid 500 bucks for both tires AND front brakes at my indy. Dealership quoted me 650 just for new tires, Brakes I'm sure would have been another 200 bucks minimum!.

I'm not sure where you take your bike in for service, but I actually just got my bike back from the local HD Shop. I had them do the 3 hole oil change since it was in there for other things. $185 for the oil, chrome filter, and the labor.

I don't know what the details are for his tires, but it might not be that crazy. I just had to get a rear tire on my springer... (240 rear tire)... It was over $400 just for the tire alone. You add in the cost of a front tire and then a bit of labor. That's $800+ pretty quickly.

LOL just $136? I called around 3 HD for a 3 hole service price anywhere from $289-$535 + tax and fees.
I bought 4qt of Mobil 1 (on sale $9.99) 2qts of Formula+, 1qt of gear oil, oil filter, O-ring gasket kit for about ……..$130
If you are crying about oil I can’t wait to hear about prices on a Sturgis trip. Price an oil change there and bring your big boy wallet.

I switched to this in the spring. $6.04/quart. Both of my M8's run quieter and cooler with it.

Can you post the HD shop that you say is charging $535 for a 3 hole oil change? You said you called 3 dealers... which one is charging $535?

Oil change kit is for those who do not know how to buy oil for their motorcycle.
