I buy guns too, my wife doesn't know if she should call me a chrome-a-sexual or an ammo-sexual (29K rounds), ai she just calls me ****-hole with a fetish. I suppose I can buy chrome ammo.

Also, my "shop" (garage), is below the kid's room and the grinding, welding, sparks etc. was unwanted with the kid's sleep schedule. Wife was very overwhelmed due to the child having cholic. Now our child is very difficult and has unique needs which requires our time as a team to take care of her. Everyone has challenges I won't get into all of them. I did still have my boat, my guitars and my guns.
Life happens, I think we can all relate in some form or another.

.

I have never been accused of having a mid life crisis. When I was young, I rode bikes and motorcycles, went on great trips, played in bands, and pretty much did what I wanted (within reason).

At 65, nothing's changed...

Seems to me that "mid life crisis" comment leaves behind a lingering scent of envy...

People saying you are having a mid life crisis are jealous and have boring lives themselves, Screw them, they would do the same thing if they had the ***** to do it.

Like others, I'm not one to much GAS what others think

but I'm curious..
you gave up much because family/parental responsibilities were more important
what changed 2 years ago when you bought another bike?

I'm also curious who are the ones talking midlife (and why) ******* you enough that it bums you out?

Why would anyone give 2 ***** about what someone else thinks of them? You should be more like Rounders. I mean, there's a guy that has exactly zero respect, annoys the hell out of everyone, doesn't even own a Harley, takes all kinds of well deserved abuse here, and doesn't give a rats *** what anyone thinks of him.

People like Rounders. He has a talent for giving a dying thread a new lease on life.
