I have a Honda Trail 70 I love riding on my property. I have an obstacle course set up that really sharpens low speed riding skills, and they definitely transfer over to riding the Harleys.

Sure if I want a dirt bike, it will be jap, since harley doesn't make dirt bikes. If they start building their bikes in Japan or get bought by a Japanese company, then I probably not buy another harley. I'd consider a Indian too.

You don't have to turn the infotainment on. If you want you can have a blank screen.

Can it be removed and tossed in the trash? It's a lot of extra weight to drag around if it isn't needed.

Well I do think they are getting heavier, how much more is than a speedo combo like on a dash?

It all adds up. The display itself, the wiring harness, the speakers, etc.
I figure it is over 20 pounds.

Depends what you are comparing. If you are talking speakers that touring bike. You can buy a FLHR or some cruiser without speakers. How much heavier is FLHR? If it has ABS and wheel control there is more weight. And it agrees it all adds up.

But if you don't want speakers get a bike without speakers. Road king doesn't have infotainment. Not sure the last year they made FLHTs and what they had for infotainment centers. No speakers.

So yes I agree it all adds up. But not all models have everything, and its not like you have to use it.

Do all models now have ride control?
