I don't agree at all.
I'm 34.
I'm seeing more and more young people get on harleys. I'm seeing more and more people my age.
Yall old farts are just at the end of the era, if you live long enough you'll see us younger ones pick up the reigns more and more.
I'm early to the party because I'm a 4th generation harley rider. I was expected to ride, and Well **** it eventually happened didnt it?
Look at the age of people riding King of the Baggers: Kyle Wyman? 34. James Rispoli? 32. Basically Same age as me. Tyler Ohara 37.
Rocco Landers? 18.
People like Blockhead, Kruesi Originals, Thrashin Supply, my age or a little older. Lance Corey of Thrashin, dude's same age as me.
We're seeing more and more people on youtube get HD corporate chilling with them and working with them.
H-D wised the **** up and realized they need to be getting views on youtube.
Their new bagger stuff is geared towards us younger folk, media and bike design.

There will be a lul for a while. But people my age, we're picking up the reigns where others are retiring.
The age group of people I see riding into dealerships, that I see at events, And the types of people are changing. Lots more young people, larger more diverse group, more women riders, more multi brand riders.
Indian is helping too. Indian is watching and learning. Indian and HD are in this together, they know it. They both know old man bagger and lazy cruiser wont sell to younger folks if they keep doing the "bikini bitches on the back only" grizzled *** old man **** that made bikes hot in the 70s.

Dont worry, us younger folks are getting to our "time to do stupid hooligan **** on harleys" moment.
We'll carry what you started. Thank you for paving the way. I love the bike I got out of it.

Before stimulus checks you could buy a cruiser for $5k Not sure where it is at today. I wish you could do that 25 years ago Granted it would have been shovels instead of evos and TC88s, When i was younger I wanted new. Older I get, cheaper I get.

honest question, 'cause I don't know...
If talking legit tour bikes and/or bikes beyond the least expensive "entry level" models, What new other brands aren't chock full of same/similar techno gadgetry , rider aids and flat screen TV dash boards?

Its not like you need to program it or solder wires.

No one says you have to use the radio or even look at the odometer.

They still have pistons, cams, and heads, if you want to build the engine up.

Simply put and to the point, the few lamenting on here are just not accepting Father Time. Happens to the best of em. As far as no young folks, it’s called what you typed hooligan and maybe the old farts, I do, should get into that purely for the fun of it as a spectator as I don’t ride like that. Those guys and gals are the future. And unlike you old dudes complaining, women are accepted as riders meaning they own their own bikes whereas you still call them bitches on the back. New generation carrying the flame their way like you did. It’s old hearing Harley is dying or sucks. Neither are true and to say it as your gospel is the sign that YOU need to step away. It’s not your thing or your an old fart. Ride on!

My LRS in the pic is my last Harley I will buy. Downsized from a RoadKing Special due to weight (age related) if I get another ride it will be lighter yet and the Sporty’ doesn’t do it for me so I will end up looking at another Marque if I need to

I love the H-D 45-degree Twin. No other manufacturer can match the style, sound, and feel. I'm 65 and there is the problem. The PA is very good bike. Problem is, once H-D moves outside the 45-degree V-Twin, there is a world of good choices. In fact, it is hard to buy a bad bike today.
