thinking of trading 07
I was thinking of trading my 07 roadglide.
I would remove the trunk and turn it back to stock.
Plus trade in my 2000 wide glide or put it on consignment.
For a new 08 roadglide same color as mine.
Am I nuts? I have 10,000 mi on the RG and 11,000 on
the WG.
Oh both are paid off.

There are a ton of folks who *love* guys like you...a barely broken in bike at major discount.
Only you can decide what's right for you...but you might want to let folks see pics of the bikes you want to move. Wouldn't take much to beat the dealer...

I thought I sawsomebodywas offered90% trade in value fortheir 07 on an 08. Well, I was in the sealership on Friday and asked how much $$ to trade my 07 Cobalt Blue RG with 500 miles in for the 08 Copper/black anniversary RG.
They offered me $14K on the trade -$4K+ loss for 2 months, and MSRP of $19.8K for the 08.OUCH! I might have done it if they gave me $16,500. I love that new color.

Well, if money was no object, reasons to trade include:
1. The color scheme, I love copper.
2. Brembo brakes
3. Black powder coated engine with chrome covers
4. IDS
5. Full length console
6.6 gallon tank
7. Did I mention I love copper pearl and black?

You are nuts. Yes you are. You should sell them both and take the cash and get the bike you want, then take the rest of the money that you will have which would probably be upwards of10kand take a wicked vacation or if you simply feel that you HAVE TO GET RIPPED OFF you could always sendthe extra cashto me.

Ifit were that important to me to obtain the 08 I would sell both and get the 08 in CVO. Im not sure it is offered inCVO, but you could spend the extra cashon a 110 engine or 103 etc...
