I should have saved the receipts....Donated my well worn S/E Road Glide to charity after 172,000 miles (mostly on Mobil 20W-50 Auto synthetic at $25.00 for $5 qts.)

They say cows are bad for the environment because all they do is eat plants and fart. Hey...just like vegans!...except that vegans are useless and waste our good air.

 

I like that........... and still claim the tax deduction for the charitable contribution......... nice! I've got 144,000 on my 14 SGS, but I'm not quite ready for that step yet, but when it's time!

 

That's what I thought too at the time, but charitable contributions are only deductible if you don't take the "standard deduction" which for that year was close to $27,000. (Tough to itemize anymore.)
