That is not a factory ordered option. Is it? Bought by owner from dealer and installed? My 2018 Ultra I bought several months ago, with 8,500 miles on it, is covered with them. I am 3rd owner and 2nd owner only had it a short time. He bought it from a Hyundia dealership. So. The original buyer bought all this "stuff" thought he was going to Live To Ride And Ride To Live. Bless his heart. I can understand . Buying a new Harley and all of the emotion going on. But. Not going spend the bucks to change it. Wish I could have got original parts. At least the mirrors are not the "objects are closer than they look" variety.

 

Might wanna look on ebay for some cheap OEM takeoffs.

Man, a bunch of us have piles of take off parts we probably just need to donate. I know it would be good therapy for me!

To add; I am with you, I hate that LTRRTL crap.

 

I hate that stuff and pretty much any logos or gawdy willie collection. But I get the conundrum of spending money. But I'd probably be turning the derby into some wall art. Maybe make it into a game of finding some take offs, and maybe go on long rides that make no sense to find stuff off market place. But I also don't want to spend hundreds either.

 

I was trying to buy a bike from a guy once and the bike was covered up with that crap. He didn't have the original items and thought the bike was worth $1K more because of it. I just had to laugh.

 

My 74 FLH had that crap on it. One of the first things I got rid of. Bike had sat for 14 years and original owner liked it, and I could tell. Gas caps are all that's left other than the primary chain access cover. Swap meets this fall and all of it will be gone!
